JS Ceramics, based in rural Te Puna, NZ, makes small runs of ceramics by hand using the slip-casting process. Incorporating oxides, stains and foraged black sand to add texture, each piece is made in their homemade moulds, then trimmed, smoothed and glazed by hand.
